LARISA KRICHEVSKY, LMFTClinical Director

    Larisa Krichevsky is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose deep interest in the human psyche originated very early in her development. She has always possessed an intense interest in human behavior, and relationships which precipitated her journey into the world of professional psychotherapy. She has earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Southern California Los Angeles (UCLA) and Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.

    Larisa’s philosophy and clinical practices are solution-focused and strength- based. Larisa offers vast experience, knowledge and guidance to families and individuals confronted with painful emotions and complexities inherent in mental health disorders and addiction. Larisa is dedicated to fostering growth in a safe and nurturing environment. Her treatment approach is tailored to who the client is, where the clients strengths lie, and the clients needs as a unique individual. As a therapist, Larisa aims to assist clients in improving their self-esteem, increasing joy in life, enhancing relationships, developing authenticity, and decreasing mental health symptoms such as depression and anxiety. Larisa’s ultimate goal is to empower clients to create change within themselves, have their needs met in relationships and to help every client feel accepted, valued, and understood. She works collaboratively, relationally, and proactively in an environment that is nurturing, loving, and accepting of each individual client.

    In addition to her private practice experience, she has great experience working with, individuals, couples, families and groups in a variety of treatment settings. Theoretically, Larisa is eclectic in her approach. She has been greatly influenced by the Attachment Theory, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy, Inter-subjectivity Theory, Family Systems Theory, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused approach.
